Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (84%), Rat (84%).

This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-82221. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

Target Information

A novel p53 inducible gene was identified and designated p53DINP1 (for p53-dependent damage-inducible nuclear protein). p53DINP1 may regulate p53-dependent apoptosis through phosphorylation at Ser46 and induction of p53AIP1. p53DINP1/SIP is expressed in many tissues and induced by a variety of stress agents including UV stress, mutagenic stress, heat shock, and oxidative stress.
