This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-51755. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

Target Information

JM4 is a 19 kDa four-transmembrane protein binding to the CCR5 receptor. It plays a role in the regulation of intracellular protein transport. It is expressed in normal brain, small intestine, lung, spleen, and pancreas and has also been detected in tumors of breast, colon, lung, and ovary.
