Product Specific Information

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (88%), Rat (88%).

This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-140262. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

Target Information

The Dedicator of cytokinesis protein 8 (DOCK8) is a member of the DOCK180 family of guanine nucleotide exchange factors. DOCK8 plays an essential role in humoral immune responses and is important in the proper formation of the B cell immunological synapse. Mutations in this gene result in the autosomal recessive form of the hyper-IgE syndrome.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
