Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (74%), Rat (74%).

This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-84511. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

Target Information

ADCK3 serine/threonine kinase is a mitochondrial protein similar to yeast ABC1 that is a member of the ADCK family. CABC1 encodes a mitochondrial protein similar to yeast ABC1, which functions in an electron-transferring membrane protein complex in the respiratory chain. It is not related to the family of ABC transporter proteins. Expression of this gene is induced by the tumor suppressor p53 and in response to DNA damage, and inhibiting its expression partially suppresses p53-induced apoptosis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found.
