Product Specific Information

This peptide corresponds to 14 amino acids near the carboxy terminus of human BCAS2.

PEP-1019 can be used as a blocking peptide with polyclonal antibody PA5-20905.

Target Information

cDNA encoding BCAS2 has been isolated. The deduced 225-amino acid protein contains a central potential N-glycosylation site and multiple N-terminal potential phosphorylation sites. Northern and Southern blot analyses demonstrates expression of a 1.5-kb transcript at various levels in multiple breast cancer cell lines, with greatest amplification in BT-20 and MCF-7 cells. BCAS2 is ubiquitously expressed in normal tissues.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
