Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (84%), Rat (84%).

This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-57261. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

Target Information

This gene encodes an enzyme that belongs to the aci-reductone dioxygenase family of metal-binding enzymes, which are involved in methionine salvage. This enzyme may regulate mRNA processing in the nucleus, and may carry out different functions depending on its localization. A pseudogene that is located on chromosome 20 has been defined for this gene.
