Perception Software for Technical Cleanliness

When manufacturing technical parts and moving them through the supply chain, they can become contaminated by foreign particles. Even low levels of contamination can have a huge impact on the functionality and durability of components. The cleanliness of technical components is critical to ensuring the longevity and performance of complex systems across different industries.

In this webinar, we’ll discuss how Thermo Scientific Perception Software can help you detect and characterize contaminants to improve overall product quality.

Watch on demand to learn:

  • Why it’s important to measure technical cleanliness
  • Different methods for sample collection and characterization
  • How to use Perception Software, including its advanced and customizable reporting tools, for technical cleanliness

About the speaker

Paula Vena, Field Applications Scientist, Thermo Fisher Scientific

Paula obtained her degree in chemical sciences from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2016, she moved to the Netherlands to pursue her PhD at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), where she studied the self-assembly of synthetic and natural polymers using advanced electron microscopy techniques as main characterization tools (SEM, cryo-TEM, cryo-ET, LP-EM). After her PhD, she continued as a postdoctoral researcher at the UMC Utrecht and TU/e working on 3D printing collagen-based materials for tissue regeneration applications. In 2024, Paula joined Thermo Fisher as an application scientist for desktop SEM. She is responsible for Perception Software for technical cleanliness applications.
