SHIP2 Antibody (PA5-95562) in ICC/IF

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence analysis of SHIP2 in U20S cells using SHIP2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-95562). Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum and incubated with the primary antibody at 2 µg/mL. DyLight 488 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG was used as secondary antibody at 1:100 dilution and incubated for 30 minutes at 37°C. The section was counterstained with DAPI. Product Specific Information

Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.

Positive Control - WB: human Hela whole cell, human K562 whole cell, rat brain tissue, mouse brain tissue. IHC: human gastric cancer tissue, human lung cancer tissue, human ovary cancer tissue, human placenta tissue, mouse spleen tissue, rat brain tissue, rat lung tissue. ICC/IF: U20S cell. Flow: A431 cell.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene is an SH2-containing 5'-inositol phosphatase that is involved in the regulation of insulin function. The encoded protein also plays a role in the regulation of epidermal growth factor receptor turnover and actin remodeling. Additionally, this gene supports metastatic growth in breast cancer and is a valuable biomarker for breast cancer.
