Mouse IgG3 Isotype Control (12-4742-42) in Flow

Human monocyte derived macrophages were stimulated with IL-10 for 48 hours, and subsequently stained with CD11b Monoclonal Antibody, FITC (Product # 11-0112-82) and Mouse IgG3 kappa Isotype Control, PE (Product # 12-4742-42) (left) or MARCO Monoclonal Antibody, PE (right). Total viable cells were used for analysis, as determined by Fixable Viability Dye eFluor 450 (Product # 65-0863-18). {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. Product Specific Information

Description: The mouse IgG3 lambda is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.

Applications Reported: This mouse IgG3 isotype control has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested: This mouse IgG3 isotype control has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at 10 µL per test. A test is defined as the amount (µg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. .

Excitation: 488-561 nm; Emission: 578 nm; Laser: Blue Laser, Green Laser, Yellow-Green Laser.

Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

Mouse IgG3 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody that is produced by B cells in response to an antigen. It is the least abundant IgG subtype in the serum and plays a crucial role in the adaptive immune response. Mouse IgG3 is composed of two heavy chains and two light chains, and it is involved in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. It is also involved in the regulation of immune responses, including the activation of T cells and the inhibition of B cell activation. Mouse IgG3 is less commonly used in research and diagnostic applications compared to other IgG subtypes, but it is still used in some applications such as ELISA and immunohistochemistry.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
