Product Specific Information

The MA1-7417 antibody reacts with Clostridium difficile toxin B in bacterial and infected tissue samples.

MA1-7417 has been successfully used in ELISA applications and can be paired with MA1-7412 for sandwich ELISA.

The MA1-7417 antibody was raised against Toxin B of Clostridium difficile.

Store at 2 - 8°C until ready use; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles by storing multiple aliquots at -20°C.

Target Information

Clostridium difficile is a species of bacteria of the genus Clostridium which are Gram-positive, anaerobic, spore-forming rods (bacillus). C.difficile is the most significant cause of pseudomembranous colitis, a severe infection of the colon.
