About This Kit
900-K126K consists of: 900-K126 (capture antibody, detection antibody, and protein standard), and AVIDIN-60UL (avidin HRP-conjugate).
Mouse CCL2 (MCP-1) ABTS ELISA Development Kit contains the key components required for the quantitative measurement of natural and/or recombinant mouse CCL2 (MCP-1) in a sandwich ELISA format. Mouse CCL2 (MCP-1) ABTS ELISA Development Kit contains enough material to assay the target cytokine in at least 1,000 ELISA plate wells.
The ABTS ELISA Buffer Kit (Product # 900-K00), sold separately, is recommended to be used in conjunction with this ABTS ELISA Development Kit for optimal performance. This buffer kit contains all the necessary components to assay ten 96-well ELISA plates (included) and contains detailed handling instructions.
This gene is one of several cytokine genes clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The protein encoded by this gene is structurally related to the CXC subfamily of cytokines. Members of this subfamily are characterized by two cysteines separated by a single amino acid. This cytokine displays chemotactic activity for monocytes and basophils but not for neutrophils or eosinophils. It has been implicated in the pathogenesis of diseases characterized by monocytic infiltrates, like psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis and atherosclerosis. It binds to chemokine receptors CCR2 and CCR4.
