900-K202K consists of: 900-K202 (capture antibody, detection antibody, and protein standard), and AVIDIN-60UL (avidin HRP-conjugate).
Human beta-Defensin 1 ABTS ELISA Development Kit contains the key components required for the quantitative measurement of natural and/or recombinant human beta-Defensin 1 in a sandwich ELISA format. Human beta-Defensin 1 ABTS ELISA Development Kit contains enough material to assay the target cytokine in at least 1,000 ELISA plate wells.
The ABTS ELISA Buffer Kit (Product # 900-K00), sold separately, is recommended to be used in conjunction with this ABTS ELISA Development Kit for optimal performance. This buffer kit contains all the necessary components to assay ten 96-well ELISA plates (included) and contains detailed handling instructions.
Defensins form a family of microbicidal and cytotoxic peptides made by neutrophils. Members of the defensin family are highly similar in protein sequence. This gene encodes defensin, beta 1, an antimicrobial peptide implicated in the resistance of epithelial surfaces to microbial colonization. This gene maps in close proximity to defensin family member, defensin, alpha 1 and has been implicated in the pathogenesis of cystic fibrosis.
