eIF3j Antibody (PA5-117929) in ICC/IF

Immunofluorescence staining of eIF3j in A431 cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with eIF3j Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-117929, 1:200) at 4°C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor®488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to cytoplasm. {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. View more

Target Information

Eukaryotic initiation factor-3 (EIF3) has a molecular mass of about 600 kD and contains 13 nonidentical protein subunits, including EIF3J. EIF3 plays a central role in binding of initiator methionyl-tRNA and mRNA to the 40S ribosomal subunit to form the 40S initiation complex (Fraser et al., 2004; Fraser et al., 2007).
