TrkC Antibody (OST00293G-500UG) in IHC (P)

IHC on paraffin sections of rat DRG using Rabbit antibody to TrkC (OST00293G). HIER: 1 mM EDTA, pH 8 for 20 min using Thermo PT Module. Blocking: 0.2% LFDM in TBST filtered thru 0.2 µm. Detection was done using Novolink HRP polymer from Leica following manufacturers instructions. Primary antibody: dilution 10 µg/mL, incubated 30 min at RT (using Autostainer). Sections were counterstained with Harris Hematox... View More {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. View more

Product Specific Information

Reconstitute in 500 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.

The peptide is homologous in mouse and human.

Specificity of this antibody: TrkC.

Target Information

NTRK3 (TRKC) belongs to the neurotrophic factor family of related polypeptides central to the development and maintenance of the mammalian nervous system. Known substrates for the TRK receptors are SHC, PI-3 kinase, and PLCG1. The different isoforms do not have identical signaling properties. The protein is widely expressed, mainly in the nervous tissue. The isoform B is expressed in a relatively large amount in the adult brain comparatively to fetal brain. TRKC is subject to ligand-mediated auto-phosphorylation. The protein structure contains 2 immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains and 2 leucine-rich (LRR) repeats.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
