TREM2 Antibody (MA5-31267) in ICC/IF

Immunofluorescence staining of mTREM2 in RAW264.7 cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with TREM2 Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (14) (Product # MA5-31267, 1:60) at 4°C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor®488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Positive staining was localized to cytoplasm and cell membrane. {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. View more

Product Specific Information

This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning in the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Then, individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production. The advantages of using recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies include: better specificity and sensitivity, lot-to-lot consistency, animal origin-free formulations, and broader immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to larger rabbit immune repertoire.

This antibody has specificity for Mouse TREM-2/TREM2.

Target Information

TREM2 is a membrane protein that forms a receptor signaling complex with TYROBP. The encoded protein may be involved in chronic inflammation by triggering the production of constitutive inflammatory cytokines. Defects in this gene are a cause of polycystic lipomembranous osteodysplasia with sclerosing leukoencephalopathy (PLOSL).

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
