TREM1 Antibody (MA5-23885) in ICC/IF

Immunocytochemistry analysis of TREM1 in immersion fixed mouse splenocytes treated with LPS. Samples were incubated in TREM1 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-23885) using a dilution of 15 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature followed by NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Rat IgG Secondary Antibody (red) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm. {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. View more

Product Specific Information

In Western blots, no cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse TREM-2B, recombinant human (rh) TREM-1, or rhTREM-2 is observed.

Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.

Target Information

TREM1 (triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 1) is a receptor belonging to the Ig superfamily that amplifies neutrophil and monocyte-mediated inflammatory responses triggered by bacterial and fungal infections by stimulating release of pro-inflammatory chemokines and cytokines, as well as increased surface expression of cell activation markers. It is thought that TREM1 other related TREM proteins such as TREM2 act to modulate the inflammatory response. TREM1 has also been linked to inflammatory bowel disease resulting in enhanced production of TNF, IL-6, IL-8, and MCP-1.
