Raptor Antibody (PA1-41269) in ICC/IF

Immunocytochemistry analysis of Raptor in HeLa cells. Samples were incubated with Raptor polyclonal antibody (Product # PA1-41269) using a dilution of 1:100 overnight at 4°C followed by anti-rabbit Dylight 488 (Green) at a dilution of 1:500. Cells were fixed for 10 minutes using 10% formalin and then permeabilized for 5 minutes using 1X PBS + 0.05% Triton-X100. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (Blue). Cells were imaged using a 40X objective. {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. View more

Target Information

Regulatory associated protein of mTOR (RAPTOR) is a binding partner of target of rapamycin (TOR). It binds to 4EBP1 and p70alpha. The binding of raptor to mTOR is essential for the mTOR-catalyzed phosphorylation of 4EBP1 in vitro. It enhances the mTOR kinase activity toward p70alpha. It is also an essential scaffold for the mTOR-catalyzed phosphorylation of 4EBP1 and mediates TOR action in vivo.
