RAGE Antibody (MA5-30062) in WB

Western blot was performed using Anti-RAGE Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (Product # MA5-30062) and a 45 and 55 kDa band corresponding to RAGE was observed in the tissues except in Mouse Heart and Skeletal Muscle and Rat Skeletal Muscle which are reported to be negative. Tissue extracts (30 µg lysate) of Mouse Lung (Lane 1), Mouse Heart (Lane 2), Mouse Skeletal Muscle (Lane 3), Rat Lung (Lane 4) and Rat Skeletal Muscle (Lane 5) were electrophoresed using NuPAGE™ 4-12% Bis-Tris Protein Gel (Product # NP0321BOX). Product Specific Information

This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning in the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Then, individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production. The advantages of using recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies include: better specificity and sensitivity, lot-to-lot consistency, animal origin-free formulations, and broader immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to larger rabbit immune repertoire.

This antibody has specificity for Mouse RAGE/AGER.

Target Information

Able to phosphorylate several exogenous substrates and to undergo autophosphorylation.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
