Phospho-EphA2 (Ser897) Antibody (PA5-117243) in WB

Western blot analysis of Phospho-EphA2 (Ser897) in extracts of NIH/3T3 cells. Samples were incubated with Phospho-EphA2 (Ser897) Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-117243) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) secondary antibody at a dilution of 1:10,000. NIH/3T3 cells were treated by 10% FBS at 37°C for 30 minutes after serum-starvation overnight. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg p... Target Information

EPHA2 belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein tyrosine kinase family. EPH and EPH-related receptors have been implicated in mediated developmental events, particularly in the nervous system. EPHA2 is overexpressed in many types of human cancers. The tyrosine kinase (TK) group is mainly involved in the regulation of cell-cell interactions such as differentiation, adhesion, motility and death. There are currently about 90 TK genes sequenced, 58 are of receptor protein TK (e.g. EGFR, EPH, FGFR, PDGFR, TRK, and VEGFR families), and 32 of cytosolic TK (e.g. ABL, FAK, JAK, and SRC families).
