NuMA Antibody (MA5-36123) in ICC/IF

Immunocytochemical analysis of NuMA in MCF-7 cells using a NuMA monoclonal antibody (Product #MA5-36123). Formalin fixed cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 10 minutes at room temperature and blocked with 1% Blocker BSA for 15 minutes at room temperature. Cells were probed with the primary antibody for 1 hour at room temperature, washed with PBS. Alexa Fluor®488 Goat anti-Mouse IgG was used as the secondary antibody at 1:1,000 dilution. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI. {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. View more

Target Information

NuMA (nuclear mitotic apparatus) is a long coil-coiled protein that plays a role in the interphase and mitosis phases of a cell cycle. In interphase, it has been hypothesized to play a structural role in the nucleoskeleton that may be important in nuclear organization and functions. During mitosis, it is associated with spindle microtubule organization and chromosome positioning.
