NTN1 Antibody (PA5-98017) in IHC (P)

Immunohistochemical analysis of NTN1 in paraffin embedded human liver tissue using a NTN1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-98017) at a dilution of 1:400. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected... View More {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. View more

Target Information

Netrin-G1 ligand (NGL1) is a transmembrane protein containing leucine-rich repeat (LRR) and immunoglobulin (Ig) domains that specifically interact with netrin-G1 through its LRR region. Whereas netrin-G1 is expressed highly in mouse thalamic axons, NGL1 is most abundant in the striatum and the cerebral cortex. NGL1 is implicated in facilitating axonal growth of the vertebrate CNS. Membrane-bound netrin-G1 acts as an axonal receptor, whereas the LRR-containing transmembrane protein NGL1 acts as a ligand in promoting the growth of thalamic axons.
