NME2 Antibody (PA5-96679) in ICC/IF

Immunofluorescence analysis of Nucleoside diphosphate kinase B was performed using 70% confluent log phase MCF7 cells. The cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde for 10 minutes, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton™ X-100 for 15 minutes, and blocked with 2% BSA for 45 minutes at room temperature. The cells were labeled with NME2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-96679) at 1:100 in 0.1% BSA, incubated at 4 degree celsius overnight and then labeled with Donkey anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) Highly Cross-Adsorbed Secondary Antibody, Alexa Fluor Plus 488... Target Information

Nucleoside diphosphate kinase B is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the NME2 gene. Nucleoside diphosphate kinase (NDK) exists as a hexamer composed of 'A' (encoded by NME1) and 'B' (encoded by this gene) isoforms. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same isoform have been found for this gene. Co-transcription of this gene and the neighboring upstream gene (NME1) generates naturally-occurring transcripts (NME1-NME2) which encode a fusion protein consisting of sequence sharing identity with each individual gene product.
