NLGN3 Antibody (MA5-45698) in ICC/IF

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence analysis using human neuroblastoma cells. Fixation involved 4% Formaldehyde for 15 min at RT. Samples were incubated with Neuroligin 3 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-45698) at 1:100 for 60 min at RT, followed by Goat Anti-Mouse ATTO 488 at 1:100 for 60 min at RT. Counterstain used was Phalloidin Texas Red F-Actin stain; DAPI (blue) nuclear stain at 1:1,000, 1:5,000 for 60 min RT, 5 min RT. Localization: Cell Membrane, Cell Junction, Synapse. Magnification: 60X. (A) DAPI (blue) nuclear stain. (B) P... View More {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. View more

Product Specific Information

Mouse: 99% identity (118/119 amino acids identical). Human: 98% identity (116/119 amino acids identical) ~60% identity with Neuroligin-1. ~40% identity with Neuroligin-2.

1 µg/mL of MA5-45698 was sufficient for detection of Neuroligin 3 in 20 µg of rat brain lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.|Detects approximately 110kDa. Does not cross-react with Neuroligin-1, -2, -4 or -4.

This antibody was formerly sold as clone S110-29.

Target Information

This gene encodes a member of a family of neuronal cell surface proteins. Members of this family may act as splice site-specific ligands for beta-neurexins and may be involved in the formation and remodeling of central nervous system synapses. Mutations in this gene may be associated with autism and Asperger syndrome. Multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
