HGD Antibody (MA5-49214) in IHC (P)

Immunohistochemistry analysis of HGD in paraffin-embedded section of human liver cancer tissue. Heat mediated antigen retrieval was performed in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0, epitope retrieval solution). The tissue section was blocked with 10% goat serum. Samples were incubated with HGD Monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-49214) using a dilution of 2 μg/mL overnight at 4°C. Adding 0.2 mL of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.

Positive Control - WB: human hepatocellular carcinoma paracancerous tissue (HCCP). IHC: human liver cancer tissue. Flow: CACO-2 cell.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Target Information

This gene encodes the enzyme homogentisate 1,2 dioxygenase. This enzyme is involved in the catabolism of the amino acids tyrosine and phenylalanine. Mutations in this gene are the cause of the autosomal recessive metabolism disorder alkaptonuria.
