GABRA5 Antibody (MA5-26794) in IHC (P)

Immunohistochemistry was performed on paraffin-embedded carcinoma of human pancreas tissue. To expose target proteins, 1 mM EDTA in 10mM Tris, pH8.0 was used. Following antigen retrieval, tissues were probed with a GABRA5 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-26794) at a dilution of 1:150. {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. Target Information

GABRA5 is a part of GABA, a major inhibitory neurotransmitter in the mammalian brain where it acts at GABA-A receptors, which are ligand-gated chloride channels. Chloride conductance of these channels can be modulated by agents such as benzodiazepines that bind to the GABA-A receptor. At least 16 distinct subunits of GABA-A receptors have been identified. Transcript variants utilizing three different alternative non-coding first exons have been described.
