FEN1 Antibody (MA5-42534) in IHC (P)

Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) analysis of paraffin-embedded human breast carcinoma tissue using FEN1 Monoclonal Antibody (Product # MA5-42534). The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 20 minutes. The tissues were blocked in 5% BSA for 30 minutes at room temperature, washed with ddH2O and PBS, and then probed with the FEN1 antibody at a dilu... Target Information

FEN-1 (Flap Endonuclease and Five prime Exonuclease) is a 42 a protein that functions as an endonuclease that cleaves branched DNA structures containing single-stranded 5' flaps or as an exonuclease on DNA nicks and gaps. FEN-1 endonuclease and exonuclease activities are stimulated by an association with proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) in the nucleus. FEN-1 is believed to have important roles in DNA replication and repair and is required in cell-free DNA replication systems.
