EphA2 Antibody (MA5-47666) in ELISA

ELISA capture of a Standard Curve using EphA2 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-47666) in human recombinant EphA2 extracellular region with a His-tag. Captured protein was detected by suitable anti-His-tag antibody followed by appropriate secondary antibody HRP conjugate. {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. Product Specific Information

Clone M088 mouse monoclonal antibody detects native human EphA2, as well as aldehyde-fixed EphA2. The antibody works for staining in immunocytochemistry, capture and detection in ELISA, and native immunoprecipitation assays.

Target Information

EPHA2 belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein tyrosine kinase family. EPH and EPH-related receptors have been implicated in mediated developmental events, particularly in the nervous system. EPHA2 is overexpressed in many types of human cancers. The tyrosine kinase (TK) group is mainly involved in the regulation of cell-cell interactions such as differentiation, adhesion, motility and death. There are currently about 90 TK genes sequenced, 58 are of receptor protein TK (e.g. EGFR, EPH, FGFR, PDGFR, TRK, and VEGFR families), and 32 of cytosolic TK (e.g. ABL, FAK, JAK, and SRC families).
