Western Blot analysis of EXOSC8 using a EXOSC8 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-98769) at a concentration of 4 µg/mL. Lane 1: Mouse small intestine tissue. Lane 2: Hela whole cell lysate. Lane 3: K562 whole cell lysate. A secondary Goat polyclonal antibody to rabbit IgG was applied at a 1:10,000 dilution. Target Information

This gene encodes a 3'-5' exoribonuclease that specifically interacts with mRNAs containing AU-rich elements. The encoded protein is part of the exosome complex that is important for the degradation of numerous RNA species. A pseudogene of this gene is found on chromosome 6.
