EN1 Antibody (PA5-14149) in ICC/IF

Immunocytochemistry analysis of EN1 in U251 cells. Samples were incubated with EN1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-14149) using a dilution of 1:25 for 1 h at 37°C followed by Alexa Fluor® 488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody (green) at a dilution of 1:400 for 50 min at 37°C. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA (20 min) and permeabilized with Triton X-100 (0.1%, 10 min). Cytoplasmic actin was counterstained with Alexa Fluor® 555 (red) conjugated Phalloidin (7 units/mL, 1 h at 37°C). EN1 immunoreactivity is localized to Nucleus significant... Target Information

EN1 (Engrailed homolog 1) is a transcription factor expressed in embryonic ventral limb ectoderm and is essential for ventral limb patterning. En1 expression in the developing perichordal tube suggests that it may also be involved in vertebrae assembly. Loss of EN1 function in mice results in dorsal transformations of ventral paw structures and in subtle alterations along the proximal/distal limb axis.
