EDB-FN Chimeric Antibody (MA5-48023) in ICC/IF

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence analysis of EDB-FN in HeLa cells using EDB-FN Chimeric Monoclonal Antibody (Product # MA5-48023). Paraformaldehyde-fixed cells were stained with EDB-FN Chimeric Monoclonal Antibody at 10 µg/mL for 1h followed by Alexa Fluor488 secondary antibody (1 µg/mL), showing endoplasmic reticular staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Panels show from left-right, top-bottom ... View More {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. View more

Product Specific Information

Specificity: This antibody bind to human Extra-Domain containing fibronectin.

Target Information

EDB-FN is a variant of the fibronectin protein that contains an extra domain, known as the extra domain B. This extra domain is not present in the normal fibronectin protein and has been found to be expressed in certain tissues during embryonic development and in tumors. The extra domain has been implicated in cell adhesion, migration, and invasion, and has been shown to play a role in the progression and metastasis of certain cancers. Due to its unique expression pattern and functional properties, EDB-FN has been investigated as a potential target for cancer therapy and imaging.
