DRD1 Antibody (MA5-42467) in ICC/IF

Immunocytochemistry-Immunofluorescence analysis of of DRD1 in SH-SY5Y cells (red). Formalin fixed cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 10 minutes at room temperature and blocked with 10% negative goat serum for 15 minutes at room temperature. Cells were probed with DRD1 Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody (Product # MA5-42467) at a dilution of 1:50 for 1 hour at room temperature, washed with PBS. Alexa Fluor 594 conjugate-Goat anti-Rabbit IgG was used as the secondary antibody at 1:1,000 dilution. The nuclear counter stai... Product Specific Information

Positive Control: Mouse kidney tissue lysates, 293T, N2A, SH-SY5Y, mouse brain tissue, rat brain tissue.

Subcellular Location: Cell membrane. Endoplasmic reticulum membrane.

Target Information

The D1 subtype is the most abundant dopamine receptor in the central nervous system. This G-protein coupled receptor stimulates adenylyl cyclase and activates cyclic AMP-dependent protein kinases. D1 receptors regulate neuronal growth and development, mediate some behavioral responses, and modulate dopamine receptor D2-mediated events. Alternate transcription initiation sites result in two transcript variants of this gene.
