Cathepsin S Antibody (PA5-47088) in IHC (P)

Immunohistochemical analysis of Cathepsin S in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human lymph node. Samples were incubated in Cathepsin S polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47088) using a dilution of 15 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained using the Anti-Goat HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. Product Specific Information

In sandwich ELISAs, less than 0.05% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Cathepsin A, B, C, D, E, L, V, and X/Z/P is observed.

Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

Target Information

The protein CTSS, a member of the peptidase C1 family, is a lysosomal cysteine proteinase that may participate in the degradation of antigenic proteins to peptides for presentation on MHC class II molecules. The protein can function as an elastase over a broad pH range in alveolar macrophages.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
