CTGF Antibody (500-P252BT-25UG) in ELISA

Sandwich ELISA: To detect hCTGF by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25-1.0 µg/mL of CTGF Polyclonal Antibody, Biotin (Product # 500-P252BT-1MG) is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech CTGF Polyclonal Antibody (Product # 500-P252-1MG) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of Recombinant hCTGF. {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. Product Specific Information

AA Sequence of recombinant protein: GKKCIRTPKI SKPIKFELSG CTSMKTYRAK FCGVCTDGRC CTPHRTTTLP VEFKCPDGEV MKKNMMFIKT CACHYNCPGD NDIFESLYYR KMYGDMA.

Preparation: Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human CTGF. Anti-Human CTGF-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA: To detect hCTGF by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25-1.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human CTGF (500-P252) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of Recombinant hCTGF.

Western Blot: To detect hCTGF by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 µg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for Recombinant hCTGF is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

500-P252BT-1MG will be provided as 2 x 500 µg

Target Information

Connective Tissue Growth Factor (CTGF), also called CCN2, is a member of the CCN family. CTGF is a secreted protein produced by umbilical veins and vascular endothelial cells. CTGF possesses an Insulin-like Growth Factor (IGF)-binding domain, a thrombospondin type 1 domain, and a cysteine knot region. CTGF plays important roles in the proliferation and differentiation of chondrocytes, induces angiogenesis, and promotes cell adhesion in fibroblasts, endothelial, and epithelial cells.
