Target Information

Regulation of secretion. Increased angiotensin II activity causes vasoconstriction and blood pressure elevation, whereas both angiotensins II and III stimulate aldosterone release from the zona glomerulosa and subsequent salt and water retention and potassium excretion by the distal tubule of the kidney.
